College students, researchers, and waste management community workers are eligible to apply. Up to 500 fellows will be recognized under the fellowship. The aim is to empower the young waste warriors and establish a large network of Swachhta Saarthis on the ground. The fellowship will provide Rs. 500/ per month to Category-A applicants. Students are vital to creating awareness about waste management and developing innovative waste management solutions

This Swachhta Saarthi Fellowship 2023 is open to individuals with the desire to improve the lives of other citizens through their actions. Eligibility Criteria for Swachhta Scholarship
- Category A- Class 9 to 12th
- Category B- Studying Undergraduation, postgraduation or research degree at college
- Category C- Self-help group workers or municipal workers
Required Documents for Swachhta Scholarship
Applicants must submit proof of identity to be eligible for the Fellowship. A photo ID can be an image of the applicant. Photo ID proof of engagement is required for category C applicants. Applicants can also submit a photo ID proof as a JPG file. The best-performing candidates will be recognized each month as the Swachhta Saarthi of the Month. The program requires monthly reporting and participation from fellows.
