The Swachhta Saarthi Fellowship is an initiative of the Government of India to combat the huge problem of waste management. The fellowship offers a unique opportunity for young innovators to take up projects related to waste management and community development. The fellowship is open to school students from Class 9 to 12th grades, college students, sanitary workers, and community volunteers. It will empower these individuals to take part in the mission.
College students, researchers, and waste management community workers are eligible to apply. Up to 500 fellows will be recognized under the fellowship. The aim is to empower the young waste warriors and establish a large network of Swachhta Saarthis on the ground. The fellowship will provide Rs. 500/ per month to Category-A applicants. Students are vital to creating awareness about waste management and developing innovative waste management solutions

What is the Eligibility Criteria ?
