This prestigious scholarship has been meticulously tailored to empower the visionary mathematicians of the future.
In order to be avail, you must have a good academic record – first-class grades in all years from class 12th to the present. You must have a strong mathematical interest. If you can meet all the requirements, you can qualify for this scholarship. You will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 6000 per month.
You must have a Bachelor’s degree with second class or better. You can also apply if you already have a master’s degree. The scholarship application form must be submitted by August. The interview shortlist is published on the NBHM website, and if you’re selected, you’ll receive an offer letter from the DAE office. The NBHM Doctoral Scholarship Test is held at five different centers across the country. These centers include Chandigarh, New Delhi, Srinagar, Indore, Prayagraj, and Vallabh Vidyanagar. You must have at least an 80% average grade in Mathematics or Statistics in order to qualify for the NBHM Scholarship. According to official notifications, the team member of the department will shortlist the candidates for the NBHM Scholarship for MA & NBHM on the basis of the written test and interview process. As per condition the test will be of 2 and a ½ half hours’ duration and involve questions requiring short answers, the topics of analysis and algebra & other areas of mathematics.
Selected contenders will get a scholarship of Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees Six Thousand Only) per month, during the 2 year period of the post-graduate program
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship
Applicants must have passed B.A. /B.Sc. degree in mathematics with first division or a B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc.(Hons.) degree in mathematics with at least 55% marks.
Students who are in the last year of the B.A./B.Sc. program to complete the course in the month of July 2021 with a first class are also eligible.

- Then the check the official notification carefully
- After that get the NBHM Scheme Application Form.
- Attach asking documents along with a recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant affixed to it.
- The envelope containing the application should be a super-scribed NBHM Scholarship and send it to the Zonal Coordinator of the zone in which you wish to apply.
