To apply for the NBHM Scholarship, you must be a mathematics-motivated masters degree student or a final-year M.Sc. student. In order to be eligible, you must have a good academic record – first class grades in all years from class 12th to the present. You must have a strong mathematical interest. If you can meet all the requirements, you can qualify for this scholarship. You will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 6000 per month.
You must have a Bachelor’s degree with second class or better. You can also apply if you already have a master’s degree. The scholarship application form must be submitted by August. The interview shortlist is published on the NBHM website, and if you’re selected, you’ll receive an offer letter from the DAE office. The application process is free, and the deadline for submitting it is 7 December 2022.
The NBHM Doctoral Scholarship Test is held at five different centres across the country. These centres include Chandigarh, New Delhi, Srinagar, Indore, Prayagraj, and Vallabh Vidyanagar. Selected contenders will get the scholarship of Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees Six Thousand Only) per month, during the 2 year period of the post-graduate program
What is the Eligibility Criteria?
Applicants must have passed B.A. /B.Sc. degree in mathematics with first division or a B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc.(Hons.) degree in mathematics with at least 55% marks.
Students who are in the last year of the B.A./B.Sc. program to complete the course in the month of July 2021 with a first class are also eligible.
