If you are a minority student, you can apply for a minority scholarship to study at an institute in India. Minority students are eligible to apply for these scholarships as long as their family income does not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum and they have obtained at least 50% in their prior final examination. Minority students are eligible to apply for this scholarship every academic year, and if you are from West Bengal, you can apply if you are a member of a registered cooperative society, self-help groups, or any other legally recognized community.
Another type of scholarship is Merit-Cum-Mean which is designed to help minority students pursue post-secondary education. This scholarship provides financial assistance to poor minority students for study in undergraduate or postgraduate level courses. Minority students who qualify for this scholarship are eligible for undergraduate or post-graduate courses in technical fields, as well as for professional or technical careers. To qualify, you must have scored at least 50% in your previous final examination.
Students from class 1 to 10 can apply for MOMA scholarships if they have attained at least 50 percent in their last examination. To apply for MOMA Scholarship 2020, you must be a minority student and have income that does not exceed INR 2.5 lakh from all sources. You can apply for minority scholarships by filling out the form online at the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) portal. To be considered for this scholarship, you must register as a new customer on NSP Portal.
In addition to providing financial support for the entire course, minority scholarships also cover the tuition and hostel fees for a 10 month period. MOMA Scholarship details the amount you’ll receive, how you will pay for the course, and how you will receive the maintenance allowance. Post Matric scholarship includes graduation, post-graduation, technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/Industrial Training Centers affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes XI and XII level.

Instruction to apply online for Minority Scholarship
The National Scholarship Portal also has an option to check the status of complaints. To do this, you must enter your Aadhaar number in the application form, and your mobile number must be registered with the account. Once you’ve entered the information, you’ll be asked to provide your bank account details. The bank account you provide should have KYC status. You will need to provide your social security number as well. You’ll also need to provide your bank account details to make sure you are eligible for the scholarship.
