Haryana Scholarship
If you want to study in Haryana, you can avail the Haryana Scholarship. This scheme is meant for students who have limited monetary support. This scholarship is issued by the state government and offers variable awards for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You must have a valid OTP to apply for this scholarship. However, this scholarship is only applicable once in a lifetime. To know more about the scheme, read the article. It has been recently made available online.
The Haryana Scholarship is for students from minority communities in the state. To apply, you must be a minority and have a family income below 2.5 lakhs. If you belong to a minority group, you must be a student pursuing a technical or professional course. The scholarship does not cover applicants from other sources. All you have to do is fill out an application form and submit it before the closing date. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered for the next round.
Interested students can apply for this scholarship through the school or institute where they are studying. The scholarship must be completed within one year of awarding. The scholarship can be renewed up to five years if it is awarded again. The application is based on the recommendation of the school or institute authority. For pre-matric students, you can apply for the scholarship through the school or e Disha center.

What is the Complete Eligibility Criteria?
Pre-Matric Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:
- Engaged Children in unclean occupations or manual scavenging are eligible
- Students from Class 1 and 10.
Total Duration:
Ten months (academic year).
Total Amount:
- For Hostellers (Class 3 to 10): Rs.700/- pm for 10 months. Ad-Hoc Grant of Rs. 1000/- per student P/A to hostellers
- For Day Scholars (Class 1 to 10): Rs. 110/- pm for 10 months. Ad-Hoc Grant of Rs. 750/- per student P/A all day scholars.
Dr Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Sansodhit Yojna
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants should belong to Haryana
- Scheduled Caste or Backward Classes candidates are eligible
Total Amount:
Rs. 8000 to 12,000 per annum
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students
Eligibility Criteria:
- Should passed Matric or Higher Secondary or any higher examination.
- Students must be studying in intermediate, graduate and postgraduate level course.
- Category: SC
- Applicants should belong to Haryana
- Should be continued studies in the similar steam/group.
- Family Income of applicants should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh
Total Amount:
Rs. 230 to 1200 per month (Varies as per course)
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC students
Eligibility Criteria:
- Annual Income of candidates should less than Rs. 1.5 lakh
- Passed in Matric or Higher Secondary or any higher examination.
- Category: BC
- Applicants should belong to Haryana
- It is necessary to be continued studies in a same steam/group.
Total Amount:
Varies from Rs. 160 to 750 per month course wise or as per any other factor

Terms and Conditions
- Applicants from Haryana only may apply for HaryanaScholarship
- Only SC/ST/OBC/GEN students may get scholarship.
- Scholarships will be allotted on the basis of minorities populations in Haryana.
- Candidates can take benefit of Scholarship through one source only.
How to submit Haryana Scholarship Registration Form 2023?
You can apply for this scholarship online. To apply, you must visit the official website of Scholarship and HIT on the “Post-Matric Scholarship” link. Fill in your full name, e-mail id, and password, and make sure to enter the correct Institute information. Finally, Press on the “Proceed to Register” button to complete your application. You need to follow the instructions carefully to get the scholarship.
Important Note: Choose Password After filling these details correctly press on “Save & Proceed” button.
- Now, you will get a “One Time Password” on your registeedr Mobile Number then “Verify OTP”.
- Then note down the “Unique Application ID” and “Password” on your Mobile No. and Email ID for further utilization.
- After that Login with your “Application ID” and “Password”.
- Proceed to fill Application Form for PMS” button.
- Fill “Applicant Details” correctly.
- After that fill all the qualification details and School Name/ Address, 10th.12th Board Name etc.
- Then Fill your College Fee details and then “Applicant Bank Account Details” like Account No., Name of Applicant, Bank Name, Bank Address, IFSC Code, Account Type etc.
- Finally Upload all the essential documents Qualification, Self Attested Bank Passbook Copy, Self Attested -Aadhaar Card, Haryana Residence Certificate, Haryana Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, , Paid fee Receipt and take printout for next process
